Italian 1

Learn the basics to achieve the formation of a simple sentence in the present tense. Correct pronunciation and grammar will be taught. Lesson book is $25.

Italian 2

A continuation of Italian 1. This course will improve sentence structure as the present perfect, the future tense, and increased vocabulary and conversation are added. Lesson book is $25.

Italian 3

This course teaches reflexive verbs, direct and indirect pronouns, the imperative, and more. Lesson book is $25.

Italian 4

This course will offer double object pronouns, the imperfect tense, comparisons, the conditional and more. Lesson book is $20.

Italian 5

The subjunctive and the hypothetical are the main studies in this course.

Parliamo 1

​This course will introduce Italian literature. Easy Readers are used. Paragraph writing will be included. (There is an ongoing group class on Thursdays at 11:00 AM)

Parliamo 2

This course offers short stories by well-known, Italian, authors (Italo Calvino, Luigi Pirandello, Natalia Ginzburg, and others), followed by discussions of these works. Essay and conversation will alternate the short stories. (There is an ongoing group class on Fridays at 11:15 AM)

Culture 1

The book “Voglia di Sapere” traces the development of the Italian language and introduces the story of Pinocchio, Dante’s life and The Divine Comedy, and more. This course is presented mainly in Italian.

Culture 2

This course explores other cultural aspects of Italy, such as I Trulli di Alberobello, the San Carlo Theatre, and more. This course is presented mainly in Italian.

Il Racconto della Settimana

A short story, by different Italian writers, will be discussed and analyzed weekly. Discussions will be completely in Italian. Grammar reviewed will take place.

Italian For Children 1 (Ages 6-9)

This course teaches beginning vocabulary, songs, and simple basics.

Italian For Children 2 (Ages 10-13)

Easy grammar will be taught and simple conversation will be encouraged.

Adult Classes:
Block of 8 classes (1 hour): $200 per student


Children’s Classes:
Block of 8 classes (45 minutes): $150 per student
