About the Event
Antonio de Curtis' poem 'A Livella has been described as a masterpiece of Neapolitan literature. In it, the annual commemoration of The Day of the Dead is used to address the theme of death, profoundly (and humorously) noting how in death, people of all classes become "level."
We will learn about Italy’s centuries-old tradition of taking November 2nd to remember the dead and take a closer look at the life of Prince Antonio Focas Flavio Angelo Ducas Comneno De Curtis di Bisanzio Gagliardi (aka Antonio de Curtis, aka Totò) as an Italian comedian, cinema and theatre actor, writer, singer and songwriter.
Due to COVID restrictions, we are limiting attendance to 15 people with proof of vaccination.
